Inhabited: Art Meets Design Exhibition

An exhibition about how art transforms the spaces we live in.

The spaces we live in are not simply containers. They carry emotions, decisions, dreams deferred. Inhabited: Art Meets Design begins with that idea — that a space only becomes memorable when it has something to say.

Starting with 12 June, for an entire week, the Homedit showroom in Bucharest becomes home to over 20 original acrylic paintings by Alice: The Calendar Art Collection and The Muses Art Collection, alongside a selection of design objects and the official launch of the Goddess jewellery collection.

“I believe the most memorable spaces are the ones that tell a story. Through this collaboration with Homedit, we set out to show how art can become part of everyday life.”

Alice (Alexandra-Camelia Stanciu), artist and founder of Alice

The exhibition brings together two distinct painting collections — each with its own voice, yet connected by the same thread: the universe we inhabit, whether interior (The Muses Collection, with the emotions it conveys) or exterior (The Calendar Collection, exploring community and collective celebrations).

The Calendar Art Collection

Time, in rural Transylvania, was never abstract. It moved through feasts and harvests, through the sound of bells and the smell of hay — a calendar written not on paper but in the body, in ritual, in colour. The Calendar collection translates that rhythm into large-scale acrylic paintings: works that don’t illustrate tradition so much as inhabit it. Each piece is a season, a feast, a particular quality of light that anyone raised close to the land will recognise without needing a title to tell them why.

The Muses Art Collection

Acrylic on canvas, 40×40 cm — small in format, expansive in feeling. Each Muse is a portrait of a state of being rather than a face: deep blue and gold, burnt orange, organic green, blazing pink. The series celebrates femininity not as softness but as force — an inner fire that transforms everything it touches. Ten works, ten moods, each one a world you can take home.

All works are available to purchase.
