Upside Up is a diptych about duality — two feminine presences existing as opposites, reflections and extensions of one another.
One rises while the other turns upside down; one holds, the other releases. Together, they speak about the shifting nature of life: its highs and lows, strength and vulnerability, order and chaos, the visible self and the one that lives beneath the surface.
Rendered in an earthy palette of ochre, terracotta, black and white, the two compositions share the same visual language while retaining their own distinct energy. The female figures feel both contemporary and archetypal, carrying a quiet sense of something ancient and instinctive.
